MASK Awards prize-giving ceremony & exhibition

MASK Awards ceremony & exhibition was opened at the Michael Joseph Art Center in Nairobi, 27 April 2017, by prominent Kenyan broadcaster Jeff Koinange of Citizen TV and the Director of Quality Assurance of the Kenyan Ministry of Education Alex Tom Majani.

Turner Contemporary, UK

Margate, 25 May-25 September 2017

MASK was featured as one of the three main exhibitors in the prestigious exhibition Every Day is a New Day at Turner Contemporary, a leading public art gallery in the UK.

Alongside renowned artists Phyllida Barlow, Michael Armitage, and the gallery's Portfolio exhibition—Turner Contemporary’s competition for young artists—MASK's work was showcased in a dynamic celebration of creativity.

The exhibition was officially opened by celebrated poet Lemn Sissay MBE, further cementing the event's cultural significance.
