Art Education in Kenya seminar

In 2011, MASK organised the ‘Art Education in Kenya’ seminar at the Brunei Gallery Lecture Theatre in collaboration with the Centre of African Studies, SOAS, University of London, and the Institute of Education, University College London.

The well-attended seminar explored the role of art education in fostering creativity and social development.

Speakers included:

• Donald Maingi (Birkbeck College)
• Mercy Kagia (Kingston University)
• Dr. Nicholas Addison (Institute of Education, UCL)
• Professor Chege Githiora (SOAS) as the Chair.
