Step into a world where each frame speaks volumes—where light meets perspective, and stories unfold without a single word. Lens & Lightis a celebration of visual storytelling, a powerful showcase of photography as both art and testimony. Featuring the work of 24 talented photographers from Kenya, this exhibition is a vibrant tapestry of diverse experiences, identities, and emotional landscapes.
Through their unique lenses, these photographers freeze fleeting moments, revealing layers of meaning and insight often hidden in plain sight. The images invite viewers to pause and reflect—to witness reality as seen by the eyes behind the camera.
From intimate portraits to street scenes, from landscapes to form and shadow explorations, the photographs delve into what it means to belong, to change, and to affirm one's place in the world. The show celebrates Kenya’s rich cultural mosaic and the traditions that shape it. Capturing the bonds that connect us—family, friendship, love, and solidarity - the images witness the moments of hardship, strength, and quiet endurance.
Highlighting life’s lighter moments—the laughter, the dance, the beauty in the mundane, these young photographers document the pulse of urban life or the stillness of rural landscapes.
Lens & Lightis not just an exhibition—it is a collective narrative, a mirror held up to society, and a celebration of photography’s power to reveal, remember, and connect.
Join us in honoring these 24 voices who, through their vision and craft, remind us that every image has a story, and every story has the power to move us.
